Houri trained as an architect in the United States before moving to Dubai over a decade ago. AE7's notable Dubai projects include the Mohammed Bin Rashid City master plan, the Dubai Canal master plan, bridges and residences, and what he describes as the second-tallest tower in the world, the 725-metre, 131-floor Azizi Tower.
He explains why clients keep returning: a reputation built on completing, not only designing, projects, and a practice of understanding each client's own key success indicators rather than applying a prepackaged solution.
The thesis he closes on: a developer is the immediate client, but the end user is the ultimate one, and a firm's own success chain runs through its client's client.
